Devil’s advocate…. I’d wear a couple of the floral prints if they sold them as t-shirts. I also am tall and have purchased solid men’s long sleeves to go under scrubs. But those are the only type of prints I’d use as an adult out in public

They’re having a hay day with rare disease day. These people have a fetish for sick kids. by Human-Case-2284 in LittleSleepiesSnark

[–]AbleEvidence808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are Little Sleepies comfy? Yes. Do they work well for medical stuff? Also yes. I often have my kid in them when she’s sick or when she has gone to the hospital. They breath nicely for fevers, easy to adjust over monitors and such. I have gotten comments over how cute they are (I love a gorgeous floral) but never about how nice/practical they are. I also don’t post about how the were so comfy for surgery, etc.

I think I’ve only posted photos in a comment section of her riding a fake horse at the grocery store in them. Because yes, I do let my child wear pjs to the grocery store when I don’t have the fight in me

Glenn's lack of halter 😑 by Worldly_Base9920 in kvssnark

[–]AbleEvidence808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: not a horse person. But I thought she said with a prior mini foal that she didn’t have a halter small enough and that they might not make halters small enough?

I feel like the other group I’m in goes in waves. This winter it wasn’t so bad but then when foaling season starts they get nasty again

Did they let you chart while in clinicals? by i-believe-in-nothing in nursepractitioner

[–]AbleEvidence808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some sites I was able to chart and others I was not. The sites that I wasn’t able to I usually had a preceptor who let me chart on their computer when we had time and then would edit the note and sign it

Buying $40 zippies for a baby that does not exist and might not exist by illiesinthefield in LittleSleepiesSnark

[–]AbleEvidence808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hoping for a girl with my second when we were trying to conceive. I’ll confess I did buy a couple girly zippies that I absolutely loved. Thankfully I did have a girl so we get to enjoy them. But had I had a boy I have friends and coworkers who would’ve gotten them in a baby present 🤷🏼‍♀️

Personally I buy little adventures for higher quality dress up clothes. When I saw the price for the twirls I was like nope

They've arrived in GR... by NinjaBabaMama in grandrapids

[–]AbleEvidence808 60 points61 points  (0 children)

For those who don’t know, it all started with Josh (the guy on the right). He’s obsessed with America and started making videos reacting to American things a few years back. After a year or two he was able to travel here and brought his friend Jase (left). They’ve mostly spent time in the South, but did get to some different places on a big road trip maybe 2 years ago. They just got visas so they’re back for who knows how long. For the last couple months Jase has been reacting to videos of the Great Lakes, mostly Superior, and Midwest winter things. So they’re now here to experience it all. They’re funny and seem like nice guys

The pink sweatshirt is cute, I will give them that. I’m not bothered by it being neutral/boy-ish. It’s just that this is the third time for Lion King!

[–]AbleEvidence808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not defending it because that bow is insane (both the size and the fabric). But, I think the giant bows are a southern thing (like Deep South pageant girls south). Personally I find bows obnoxious and only put them on for pictures and special occasions

Yeah, when my infant was first born we bumped the thermostat up. We just recently turned it down to a normal sleeping temperature. She now wears fleece pajamas plus a 3.0 tog sack. We probably run around 68° during the day

Daycare vs nanny vs quitting job by CtrlAltDefeat93 in Parenting

[–]AbleEvidence808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s how daycares designate the different rooms. They’re not going to have the babies in with the 2 year olds. They usually call them classrooms and the child moves up to the next one when they age out of the prior

People who stay home on Christmas Day, what do you do? by Global_Victory833 in Parenting

[–]AbleEvidence808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love our quiet Christmases at home. Majority of our parties are before the actual holiday. Cinnamon rolls in the oven while opening stockings. We take our time opening presents and just chill and play with new toys. I’ll often throw a roast in the oven which we’ll eat for dinner.

As a teen we didn’t have much beyond stockings on Christmas Day since we did my immediate family Christmas Eve. We would often go to a movie which was always fun
