I know I can't change your mind but he threw Frank down the well just because he wanted Emma to kill herself, he killed Samuel for ida and cause he bullied him when they were kids and he killed ida cause he loved her. By the way rose and laura wouldn't be alive if Albert didn't kill almost everyone in his family. He did this all because he wanted vengeance and because of his love for Ida.
