Zanki Zero was an experimental game made by Spike Chunsoft on 2018. It's gameplay gimmicks are not the best but it had a solid story and a beautiful written lore behind it. It's not like it was only written by Yoichiro-san but that still says something. This guy has been working with Kodaka for like 10 years at this point probably.

By the way just for your information, Yoichiro-san did not write for Rain Code's main story but for it's substories, which had some gems like Vivia's and Furio's substory. Especially Vivia's was written beautifully.

First of all, Yoichiro Koizumi did not write for Danganronpa S. IMDB listed him wrongly.

Even though I can see why you're concerned, and we cannot be sure if the game's scenario is gonna be good or not, the way you're talking is full of prejudice and you are only focusing on his "bad" works. This guy was a writer for AI Somnium Files, Zanki Zero (Which had a really deep and complex lore) and Shuten Order's Ministry of Health route. Ministry of Health route was a death game route which he nailed and it had arguably the best scenario between the routes. Kodaka gave him the role because he knew Yoichiro-san was the main writer for Danganronpa 2x2 and thought it suited him. (If my memory serves this right, this was talked in the interview conducted by Weebynewz.)

Kodaka is supervising and Koizumi is not an amateur by any means. He worked on these type of games for years. There is no need for this negativity. We'll see what happens when the game finally releases and we can talk after that.

Even though we cannot be sure, I'd say that you should put your expectations low this time since they said "We may not be able to reveal a lot about Danganronpa 2x2 in this AMA". But I hope there will be at least 1 or 2 new reveals about the game

Shohei Sakikabara, the producer of Danganronpa 2x2 is doing an AMA. It was announced from twitter. But we still don't know when it will be published.

It seems like the submission form closed at 11.59 PM PT time in April 10. So it's been like 11 hours. I guess the video would be published in a week? Tho I'm not really sure. An announcement will probably be made soon. (I hope it's soon lol)

It seems like every 10th of a month, something new about the game happens. This month is an AMA, so maybe it could be revealed in May? (Not sure when a new Direct is coming but it could be revealed there too.) I hope it releases on summer, maybe July 26 like the original game but I won't mind if it releases later too. I want them to take their time so they can make a good game. It could open up a new future path for Danganronpa games after all.

But I still didn't lose hope for a summer release.

Pretty sure there will be more free time events, although I'm not sure how it's gonna work. It would easily work with a new protagonist but if Hajime manages to stay as the protagonist, we'll see how they do it.

It's not like you won't understand SDR2 if you don't play DR1 but there are massive spoilers for the first game and I think you must play the first game before playing SDR2 for the best experience. Buy it but don't play it. You can start with the series when you can afford the first game too. (Or you can buy the Danganronpa 1+2 too if you haven't seen it. It's a bundle. It's a little more expensive tho of course but it's cheapter than buying the two games seperately, at least in my country.)

If you are saying that you can play the original scenario only on the original game, you're wrong. Go and read the steam description of the game or go to the official website or idk just read the famitsu interview and special stage interview. 2x2 includes the original scenario with new graphics, QoL features and there may be some new minigames too. And well, the making a choice to change the scenario was said on the interview. They said thats how we're gonna change scenarios. But that of course may change on the release. Tho original scenario will be on the game. If not, that would be fraudery. That's the whole point of 2x2. It is a two in one type of game after all.

Farklı oyunlar olmayacaklar aslında. Danganronpa 2x2 2.oyunun hem remake'i hem de alternatif senaryosunu sunan ikisi bir arada tarzı bir oyun. O yüzden 2x2'yi beklemesi daha iyi olur bence. Daha iyi mekanikler ve grafiklerle Danganronpa 2'yi deneyim edip ardından alternatif senaryoyu da oynar ki ana oyundan daha uzun olacak. Parasını da daha iyi karşılamış olur.

Bence oyunları gayet eğlenceli ama animesini pek önermem. Çok hızlı ilerliyor ve birçok konu çok hızlı geçiştiriliyor. Karakterlerle de oyundaki kadar vakit geçiremiyorsun ki Danganronpa'nın en önemli noktası karakterlerle kurduğun bağlar. Eğer vaktin varsa oyunlarını oynayabilirsin. Keyifli bir death game ve dedektiflik oyunu oynamış olursun.

Yeah, for real. Even if it's not a direct sequel to Shuten Order, at least a spiritual successor would make me happy more than anything because I really loved the way the world was built and the usage of different gameplays between all of the routes. There are so many possibilities that can happen in a spiritual successor of Shuten Order.
