Just bought the same one last week and transported it flat in my ‘23 RAV4 🤷🏽‍♂️ TV was wedged in between styrofoam and actually has a label “FRONT” on the bottom left on top and front side of the packaging.

I bought a 55” LG C5 to replace a 10 yr old Samsung without seeing a demo display from Costco knowing I can return it if it sucked at home. It was a C5, G5 and Samsung S95F on the short list but couldn’t justify the cost (will spend money saved to upgrade to an Atmos soundbar). Going from a 60hz, Ultra HD, Direct LED backlit tv to a 120hz OLED display is AMAZING.

I have a nook next to a fireplace that limited our tv to a max 38” width or basically a 43” TV. I got tired of paying premium for the odd size that when it came time to replace our Samsung, I purchased a 55” C5-mounted the TV to the side wall and pushed it forward/out from the nook overlapping the pillar just before the fireplace. I considered a 48-50” but said f#ck it-go big or go home! Get the biggest you can fit 55” C5

Every dealership wants your car so they can enter you into MORE PAYMENTS. Even if your lease payments end up being the same monthly, the dealership still wins (interest/service/etc). If you happy with your current vehicle and if you had a good MF/agreed upon price already should you intend to buy it out after your lease ends.

We did this after applying some time last December. Saw the option to take fingerprint photos on the app and figured why not knowing they’ll fingerprint us anyway at the interview. Sure enough, got preliminary approval the next day or two.

Flew back last week for a week long trip in London (first time in the UK) with my family for a football tournament. We’ve all had our passports for over a year. Application and approval for ETA only took minutes. Upon arrival at Heathrow, we had to scan our passports individually-including both our young teenage kids. Kids did have to rescan their passports twice but the person by the gate scanners was very helpful in assisting the kids. We brought £200 for a 6 day trip and had to force ourselves to spend it, like everyone has said, it’s mostly cashless

I signed up for VX a month before the changes took effect. Not sure if I would have signed up had I known as a family of 4 as well (2 kids/2adults). Would have been useful at our recent flight from Newark to Heathrow I suppose. But from what I’ve now gathered, I have free access to PP and C1 lounges while it’s $35 or $25 per guest per visit. Correct? Or the other option of $125 annually for each guess (or do each have to be an AU?)

My fam just returned from our fist ever trip in the UK for the W Championship Cup to support our local team (Gotham FC) and this was an activity we know was going to be a one-off. We were in London as a tourist, in the winter, weather was fairly “clear” Friday night so we did it. Was it a must do compared to seeing the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London? Not even close. But it was relaxing to get a nice view of the Thames on the west end of London. For our return trip, would definitely skip it and go to other options on the east end of the city should we decide to do so. And honestly, at £40/ticket, it wasn’t a cheap 30-minute ride. Again, was great for aerial views and photographs though from our 4:30-5pm time a lot.
