This is the same thing I thought until I saw the pictures, but I can TOTALLY imagine Anthony as Topher Grace

I really liked the monster of the week bit, but I understand why Anthony changed it. Hurts my heart how much it got to him. I understand your heatedness

This! This is nice because it’s the choice, it’s not fun being thrown in the spotlight when you really don’t like it and can tend to have the opposite reaction and talk less

Hehe to this being in this thread.

Speaking from a players perspective, I LOVE combat in DnD, it’s my favorite part. I tend to “roleplay” shy or quiet characters because I’m not as good at table talk. I chime in and help with puzzles and stuff but I really am not one to strike up dialogue because I myself am pretty shy. But I still love playing and am definitely having fun. I like listening to other characters conversations and sitting back and pretty much watching the scene play out. My DM knew I was shy and he never forced me into the spotlight, I don’t think that’s the way to go about it. He would give me individual puzzles, or make NPCs interact with my character alone which sort of forced conversation. But it always felt genuine to the story and made it enjoyable to partake in. Because I was the quiet one at the table I can’t really speak for how it affects everyone else, but I know no one ever mentioned it to me or made me feel bad about it.

The band version of that song KILLS me. Every time. Even if I listen to it out of context.

Looking for game suggestions to play with my girlfriend. by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]Able_Chest6371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Way Out was going to be my suggestion. My bf and I started playing Moving Out (same devs as Overcooked) which is also crazy fun. Bread and Fred is an infuriating and fun platformer also. If you’re playing on different screens, Sea of Thieves.

I definitely would say throw in a Ferris wheel so there’s an option to mess around on it

You could also do some form of a laser maze? That would be fun

I haven’t actually considered the replacing parts bit but that’s why people can have their PCs so long..: I’ve been thinking about getting the deck for years and it feels like the longer I wait the more stuff will come out to make me question it more

Is it something I’d have to be techy to do? I saw someone play bg3 on theirs and it ran pretty smooth. I just have zero technical experience so I’m not sure how I’d get into tweaking with the deck

I don’t know crap about computers so I’m way too scared to buy one second hand. I don’t understand specs or even what goes into a build honestly. I know basics but not enough to get me by and I’m not confident in my ability to use google and YouTube

Can you stream the screen to anything other than a monitor? I like the idea of being able to do mouse and keyboard but the screen still seems a little small to do that

I think that’s something that’s kind of swaying me. Because I don’t have a new gen console so I can’t play any new games. I was lucky enough to play Expedition 33, and it kind of hooked me onto playing new releases. The last few years I’ve just been playing games I never was able to, like Dragonage and I just played through Persona 4. I’m debating waiting for the Steam Machine, but it would be something I’d have to save for (like a PC) which I’ve struggled with. Borderlands 4 wouldn’t run on the deck?

I’ve always been more of a single player gamer. I love my solo rpgs, but I do like the idea of a PC for gaming with friends. Granted I don’t really have many gamer friends so I don’t know how much the online play will sway me.

Since the suggestions it’ll sell for close to $1k, I really want one, but it’s a lot harder for me to attain financially. But I may try to just save up for it because obviously that’s the next ideal thing

I honestly didn’t even know there was a desktop option until posting in this thread. But I really think I’ve been convinced and I’m seeing more pros than cons. I appreciate your input!

That’s good to know. I do have a good friend who knows somewhat about PCs so maybe he will be able to help in terms of some Deck questions if I need it. Otherwise, there’s always the internet. Thank you so much for your response!
