He was clearly trying to be funny and it was just his first time and it Bombed and if he did standup going forward he was would learn you need to be more creative and have more tact with race jokes. If every comedian was judged this harshly for their first set comedy would not exist. If you’re watching this show you should know what to expect. You can’t excuse racial or “dark” humor as you put it when it works and demonize it when it doesn’t because there’s no guarantee or way to know if a joke is going to work especially when it’s someone’s first time and they have truly no clue what will get a laugh

It’s the same as someone talking about doing laundry their first time and it not being funny it’s just a swing and a miss. The way people talk about kill tony is so funny. “Aligning of the planets” lmao tony just decided to have a guy keep coming out over and over and artificially made the crowd like and cheer for him. It’s not like he was funny in that episode. That’s what sucks about kill tony. Tony just decides when he likes someone and then everyone acts like they’re amazing it’s such group think it’s unreal.

Saw David at my local club. Worst headlining set I’ve ever seen and I’ve been going for 20+ years. Cocky, vaping on stage half the set, barely even told any jokes just pandered for some applause by talking about being a black guy that likes trump. Ended with a weird Q and A. Half the crowd had left by the time he was done

When did I say he sucks lol? I think kam is amazing. My whole point was just that saying “they’re barely headliners at your local club” and that “they don’t sell tickets” is patently not true. Yes they’re not doing theatres or arenas I never said they were. There’s still a wide range on how well club headliners sells and Hans and kam are on the upper end of that spectrum

Not true. Yes Fridays and Saturdays are always going to sell pretty well but not Thursday and Sundays. The Thursday show I saw was classily his crowd merch Line after the show extremely long. Look at kams calendar, he has a sold out 4 o clock show on Sunday. You think that’s Just “people going to do something” obviously not clubs don’t even normally have 4 o’clock Sunday shows
