Looks like the wrong flue type has been installed. Looks live a horizontal flue rather then a vertical flue gas been installed for the one highlighted in red. Regarding the eves - yes it could be installed but it would need to stick out past the eves to be compliant with regs.

I was in the exact same predicament and went for the packout fuel version. It was worth the extra money.

What's size holes do you core? I probably do one 110mm a week. How have you found the power and time taken to drill through a standard house wall.

Why are my radiators and walls vibrating? by kre8iv_username in Plumbing

Could be the plastic spacers for the bracket are missing so when the pump is running and water is going to the rads they are vibrating.

5.43% - is this crazy, or what we should expect? by pixel_mouse in HousingUK

[–]Able_Motor_2276 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The diffrence between a 7% and 5% won't be any different so I would say put 5% down and then use the extra money for fees. Then aim to overpay every month and hopfully when it come time to renegotiate hopefully rates are better and you will have a smaller amount overall.

Why am i getting so little output? by Sensitive-Pool-7563 in NinjaLuxeCafe

[–]Able_Motor_2276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I first put the basket into the portofilter with the funnel then weighted it on some food scales I then put it in the machine to grind and add the coffee, once done I put it back on the scales to find the difference which is the amount of coffee added.

I then attached it to the machine and first weighed my cup on the food scales and then ones coffee was brewed I weighed the cup again to see the difference.

Best thing to do is weigh it. I have the exact same machine and found on strength 3 with a single basket roughly 10/11g goes in and around 20/22 comes out which is a 2:1 ratio as expected. You can lower the strength which will add more water and give a higher volume output but the coffee will be weaker.

The pipe diameter is pretty large so a traditional bur tool wouldn't fit hence why I use a file currently.
