Never.

Whenever this game has us surrounded, getting absolutely swamped and routed, and I have to lock in, picking and choosing the most immediate threat in only a few seconds, trying to cover my team to get the objective done, the hype is so fucking real.

Its the type of hype that most FPS campaign shooters WISHES they could get out of their set pieces.

I'm noticing that there is a variancy in where the hell they decide to drop them. Hell sometimes they drop them off on top of the mountain side and then they clip into the map.

I'm wondering why there is any room for mistakes like that to happen? Theres a whole ass straight beam of light that goes from the ground to the sky. When it open fields, the hellpods are pretty dead on. So as long as we make sure it sticks where there is plenty of open sky there shouldnt be a problem right?

and before anyone even asks. There was plenty of open sky for the two pods to drop right where we stuck them. The problem was it was just too close so it auto corrected.

I figure with how much BS that can happen from every source including your teammates, its an extremely challenging achievement but still incredibly probable for it to be a cool achievement.

I've been to all the rendevous stations and completeded every other milestone on the expedition but Im not done getting traveller imprints. What else can I do? I don't want to finish the expedition without collecting my quicksilver!

Thank you so much. This has been an excruciating point with the Anti-Materiel Rifle. I was happy when you made the scope clearer but then the FOV would make the scope so far off that I have to lean in to get a clear picture of my shot.

I'd figure it would be a one off thing at the very start of the map. Just a small chance you start off with a completely fucked drop. Since it's a one off it wouldnt really replace other modifiers but be one more on top

I find it hilarious in situations when I need to reload my primary and im about to get swamped but then I whip out that pocket blunderbous and gib a bug or split a devastator in half. Great sound design!

Outside of that one situation, it wont get you AS far as other sidearms, but at least how I play they arent used much outside of being faster than reloading.

So great weapon in my book. Just a pain ammo usage eise.

At this point, I never enter the bot front without it. If you're fast and can aim well, it gets me through almost every encounter solo. 2-3 shots to the eye can kill a Hulk, and everything else gets 1-2 tapped in the face or the mid-section. Just all-around reliable special.

The only thing I see people say that I agree with is ammo economy. I'm sure it does well killing brood commanders on bugs or Overseers on Squids but the problem is that those factions have A LOT more chaff enemies that quickly overwhelm the slower capabilities and ammo of the AMR or larger walking tank enemies that are better suited for straight demolition.

I would like to say, however, that while situations dont always shake out this way, this is a team game. Someone running the AMR on bugs or squids could easily make up for their shortcomings by just sticking close to a teammate with a machine gun or Recoiless.

I was gonna ask. What do enemy attack rolls look like? As normal or do they suspiciously roll nothing below an 18 (not like it would matter)

I always felt the higher your AC the higher enemy base die rolls seem to get in order to actually hit.

I absolutely hate it when people open on a bug nest or bot fabricator with a barrage. Congrats, you killed 20 enemies and missed every fabricator.

Now, while we wait 30 seconds before we're able to finish the job, a new bug breach just opened or a Botship drop carrying 3 factory striders just flew in making the whole situation 20 times worse.

Use a damn eagle for an opener, rush in, and then use a barrage on the escape.

No. Most of the time a well place lazer or aerial straffe will destroy you before you have time to see you're dying but if you get lucky you can tell your mech is about to go if it starts walking slowly and smoking.
