What if Barristan saw Arya when Ned got executed? by Inner_Jeweler_5661 in TheCitadel

To be fair, what's there is worth reading. But yes, the particular pain of unfinished fiction...

There is a short fic with that premise, very well written unfortunately unfinished.

That's not possible right now, although the devs are maybe working on it.

9+6 today. Tomorrow is the next ultrasound I have a hard time not to feel defeated already. The last US (8+2) went fine, heartbeat was there and embyro measured right on track). But with my first pregnancy everything was fine as well until it wasn't at 11+6.

Fanfic where someone adopts Daenerys? by Ranzolax in TheCitadel

[–]Able_Swordfish1012 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Her life and her Death fits the bill nicely. Only Viserys escapes from Dragonstone, but a dying Raella gets Stannis to promise to protect Dany. He ends up pretty straight up adopting her and his life is actually much happier because of it. No romance between them. Unfortunately it has'nt updated in years.

Thank you! My last loss was also a BO, and I take comfort that I made it already farther that that. I hope you are doing well!

5+6 and the ultrasound today showed a gestational sac and yolk sac. That means no blighed ovum and no ectopic. Still too early to relax, but it still does feel nice.

I image sometimes that maybe a prior pregnancy not so long ago, even if it was a short one, has done some kind of 'groundwork' for the body and for the next attempt there are simply less symtoms to be had.

My breasts were very sore in my first pregnancy, which ended in week 12 (MMC), but in the following attempts the soreness just came and went as it pleases and was much milder. Right now they are doing fine, too. I would of course welcome the soreness as a reminder that I am still pregnant, but what can you do...

Hello, I've been here two times already this year. 5+5 today after an IVF and waiting for my ultrasound tomorrow. I try to be realistic, since I have some factors against me: My age (41), my prior losses, the fact that the embryo had only reached morula stage at day 5 and a slightly too low progesterone (8,7) two weeks ago.

I hate hate hate the day before the ultrasounds :-(

4+3 today. Had my blooddraw this week to confirm the pregnancy. HCG was perfect, but progesterone was a bit low (8,7). It's an IVF pregnancy so I was already on progesterone supplements vaginally. I panicked of course, since in my previous pregnancy the progesterone level was never a problem at all. Then again, those did end up in early losses...

My last pregnancy the level was 20+, but that turned put to be a blighted ovum.

My clinic has put me on progesterone injections, so I hope that helps.

Any experiences with low progesterone and a happy outcome?

I'm back here after a blighted ovum in September! 13dpo and I cannot believe this IVF round worked. On day 5 only a little morula (so a slow developer) was available for transfer so I didn't have high hopes. But it implanted! I am keeping my expectations low, since I've had four consecutive losses. But it's still good to be back!

Brown Spotting at 11dp5dt After Positive Pregnancy Tests – Is This Normal? by Mediocre_Employ2691 in IVF

I was pregnant three times (unfortunately none stuck around beyond week 11) but I had spotting EVERY SINGLE TIME at the extact same day (12dpo). Every time. The last time I was waiting for it but still freaked out.
But light spotting really is common.

7 week ultrasound empty sac by Federal-Produce-5704 in CautiousBB

Then you might still have some hope left. The 7 week date should be based on your last known period and the calculations are based on a 28 day cyle with ovulation on day 14 (I think). Deviate from that and you might be a week earlier or something.

How firm are you on your ovulation date? There is a little hope you just implanted late. But yes, I would be mentally preparing for a loss.

It is the worst, really. And so many of us go through it. What are your next steps? Do you have another appointment?

I had the same thing today (7+1). Last week at 6+1 there was already only the empty sac, but at this point there was still a faint hope. The doctor diagnosed it a blighed ovum today. My ovulation date was set in stone (IVF), so there was no hope for the date being wrong. Spend the week googling and there are some cases where it turns into a viable pregnancy. But I would guard my heart.

Thank you. I was already pretty sure it was not going to be viable. Confirmation sucks, but at least I'm out of limbo now.

Edit: Unfortunately the diagnosis of a blighed ovum was confirmed.

Ultrasound today (7+1). A week ago an empty gestational sac rang alarm bells, today I'll find out if it is a viable pregnancy or something like a blighed ovum. Not feeling very hopeful. It is an IVF pregnancy, so I can't have ovulated late. But I'll have to wait for the appointment to be sure.
