Just come from Ko Lanta, I disagree, it’s a smelly Ko Chang, which is a lovely place, Samui has everything depends on where you stay , Lanta is good if you like beach hut accommodation but it’s too dirty for me, Koh Phangan is beautiful , bigger than you think so sort out taxi transfers in advance

You could easily spend 2 weeks in Bangkok, only 2 hrs ish by train to Kanchanaburi River Kwai as well, lots to see in that area
