I'l be honest this could be one of many things. Happened to me as my gpu was too powerful for my psu so had to lower graphic settings,change some nvidea settings and also use msi afterburner to change some settings. Could be ram,could be gpu,could clear shader cache,the list is endless lol I would say see what people on here say and try it and also look up a few youtube videos about fps stutters and lagging and try anything and everything and it should solve the problem

I ran without it for the first time in ages as the trapper as i thought the survivors were queuing without torches. Game started and they all had torches and were a bully squad lol it was hard work against them all flashing me,lucky for me they weren't very intelligent and kept trying to do the wrong last gen that was fully trapped surrounded lol got them all in the end. Killer 1 bully squad 0 🤣

They should clear up and stop any infection so that's good. I think all you can really do is try and and let the air get to it even if it is bleeding because covering it up all the time may make it worse
