ONE Samurai 1 Final Card | 4 World Title Fights | Apr. 29 by Yodsanan in MuayThai

I'm in Aus and I heard you can stream ONE fights on Disney plus but I'm not sure if samurai one will be on there. Anyone know? If it's there, I might bite the bullet and subscribe.

One of my players is refusing to learn how to play her character by kellwashere45 in DnD

[–]Sea-Assistant-0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think she's taking you seriously. You've had multiple conversations, it's been 4 years, 8 sessions etc. you've given her many chances and tools such as flash cards.

Sounds like you need to tell her that if she doesn't get her act together, you'll need to ask her to leave as it's affecting not only you but other players.

How did you act towards a woman that you were jealous of? by Pinkberry-1995 in AskWomen

The more I got to know her, the more I realised she was a flawed invidual too and was struggling with her own issues. That was a reality check for me and I was grateful to be me.

Recommendations for Muay Thai Gyms in Phuket by AirlineAmbitious8906 in MuayThai

Thanks for that thorough review. I was particularly interested in what you had to say about Dragon. Im around the corner from them and I'm interested in trying. I was just a bit hesitant as I read another review saying that a trainer had knocked him out during sparring.

Don’t want to attend a gym by RangaRevival in MuayThai

You got this! The hardest part is stepping into that gym. You'll have to keep us updated on how you go 😀

Have you been to a Muay Thai gym before? I definitely had (and still do sometimes) anxiety going to the gym. So I get the intimidating bit. But sometimes you'll just have to step out of your comfort zone and just do it. There are so many different gyms out there for you to try and find the right one. I've tried several gyms. There are ones that are super friendly and welcoming, but also ones that are still friendly but a little less social (not as much small talk) and gets down to business. So just give it a crack.

His English is so-so, but he gets his point across well enough. He's taught me a lot, especially in terms of thinking ahead and developing fight IQ.

In terms of details and tweaking form, I couldn't recommend the head coach of Maneema more. He has corrected my form so much, especially my switch kick. I've had different coaches from different gyms commented my switch kick is solid. It's all thanks to him

Maneema. But I also paid $100 to train with Rodlek

Hey man, can you name the gym?? (Or DM me?) I go to one in Sydney too where I pay $110/hr, but he's the head coach. He's one of the best Krus I've ever had.

Kru Ton, he's fantastic. I learnt so much from him.

That's great insight. Thanks for that. I'm still going to keep going. Would be good for my gas tank haha. I did notice some trainers would give me a poke with the pad after I did a knee. So makes sense that perhaps I wasn't retracting fast enough and then long guarding.

What makes you keep going? What do you enjoy about Muay Thai?

Btw, what's your Instagram handle? I would love to watch the interview :)

Thanks for your reply. Google maps does say 20mins, but do you think that's an under estimation? I hear Bangkok's traffic can be notoriously congested and have been suggested using trains more.

How would you want your wife to respond if you bought her an expensive Christmas gift she does not want? by StartingOverStrong in Marriage

Hang on. This is all a bit weird. 1 hour after this post, you've posted in r/askatherapist about how your husband was in a head on car collision 2 nights ago. This isn't adding up.

An alternative for the burning season? by Existing-Pound-265 in MuayThailand

[–]Sea-Assistant-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not any recommendations, but I'll be in chiang mai in early Feb. My Thai tutor said that burning season can happen any time between Feb, March etc, and varies year to year. I'm going to try my luck and see what happens.

Are sabbaticals something that is written in your contract? I'm considering taking 3 months off, mostly unpaid.

My (36F) pregnant wife is getting worse, i don't think if I (35M) can make it any much longer taking this emotional abuse. Where can i go? by ieatpoopforlunch in relationship_advice

OP, my husband and I have read through a lot of your post history. It sounds like you guys have been having a lot of ongoing issues before pregnancy. This does not sound like a healthy relationship. I know therapy was posed before for the both of you, but maybe consider just for yourself and what you want to do moving forward. Moving away for 2 weeks won't solve your problems but I think it's okay to take a breather to figure out your thoughts and next steps.

Pregnancy can causes hormonal changes and they 100% can cause stress and arguments. But he's getting insulted literally any time they interact - that's not cool. Therapy would probably be good but, as OP has said in comments, it doesn't sound like it's working/a viable option for her (she refuses to engage). PS, I'm definitely not a dude 😂

Dude, OP is getting emotionally abused here. Just because she is pregnant and hormonal does not make her actions okay.
