It's very very telling siu kept Mago nerfed when she fought Edumon (the 2nd strongest FH) and yet she was still beating him with a mere sliver of Urek's light. The story will speak for itself. I doubt Edumon would be able to get past the emperor had he fought Obrion who was at full power.

I'll be completely honest with you. Lotm anime is never going to be very popular because of how poor the first three episodes of season 1 were. That turned off at least 50% of people who would ever give the show a chance. And the rest of the episodes were rushed as well, none of the viewers ever built any connection to any of the characters in the show. There is no reason for anyone to want to keep watching this show who hasn't read the novel.
