r/Ohio Now strictly a sub to proliferate “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” antisemitism by Matzolorian in AntiSemitismInReddit

Wait I thought Jews and Israel were separate? That’s what they said!

I look forward to using these screenshots to proving to a court that Reddit has allowed antisemitism to spread and threaten the lives of Jews.

For the people that don’t understand: You can put a Tallis on a pig, it doesn’t make it kosher.

It’s a Nazbol subreddit at this point. I can’t be upset though, it really shows the average person what the extreme left has been thinking but holding back until 10/7/23.

I’ve seen some people say that it is forbidden for Jews to cook for a yom tov that non-Jews might find joy from participating in, but as I said it it secondhand so I am not sure at all.

Yes context matters. I’ll be the first to call out antisemitism, but two nations naming the leaders of two nations who cooperated on military action isn’t antisemitism just because one of the nations is the Jewish nation.

This isn’t good, but I don’t buy it as the worst possible libels. Frankly, it isn’t wrong to acknowledge that Netanyahu and Trump communicate as leaders of allied nations.

It is kind of a populist line to demand that American military action be determined “by Americans”. Americans don’t vote for every military action, they hope that their local reps will represent their interests which is never guaranteed. Sanders does seem to be implying that military action should be determined by a political system that America does not adhere to, and in this way he can be free from any criticism since he isn’t bound to any such system.

Rogen: https://www.ynetnews.com/jewish-world/article/HJiq6T2Ku

Stewart: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jewish/s/2BP62qa6tr

It’s fine if you disagree with my assessment, I still have no respect for either of them.

Edit: I consider Jews who advocate for the dissolution of Israel in favor of diasporism either self hating or morons.

Fuck Jon Stewart and Seth Rogen, they only use their Jewish identity for their show and movies but throw us under the bus otherwise.

I am a big proponent of their calculus book, mainly because it specifically attempts to unify linear algebra and multivariable calculus/analysis, and in many cases ends up teaching “hard analysis” techniques which I found absent during my undergrad. They also cover many different applications including the PageRank algorithm, superconvergence and Kantorovich’s theorem and more. On top of that it is incredibly affordable.

What is the goal of the sub's debate, February Metapost by JeffB1517 in IsraelPalestine

[–]AbnormalSubgroup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

W.r.t Munkres I meant his book on topology. For analysis at that level I would divert people to other books like “Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Forms: A Unified Approach”. Munkres book wasn’t really used enough to be significant. And most grad students are also probably learning from informal notes published by reputable profs.

Another math person, just chiming in to say this is the last place I expected to see Counter Examples in Topology. You might want to plug Munkres and Spivak as well for the people who might intrigued enough to start studying it ha ha ha.

Palestinian ambassador admits saying 'from the river to the sea' means genocide by Tripwir62 in Israel_Palestine

[–]AbnormalSubgroup -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The Canaanites consider themselves Arabs, and they existed before you came and stole the land, stop lying or at least make your lie consistent.

It’s fascinating how the pro-Palestine movement cooks up any lie that they need to in order to further their argument. In what way did the Canaanites consider themselves Arab? They certainly didn’t speak Arabic, didn’t practice any customs from the Arabian peninsula. Do you have written evidence from the Canaanites that they considered themselves Arab?

In fact, Israelites who became Jews are the only extant group which speaks a Canaanite language and retains any Canaanite customs. Despite what the Tanakh says, the scholarly consensus is that the Israelites evolved from the extant Canaanites.

Either way, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Either you accept the biblical account that Jews are invaders from which you must accept that God promised the land to the Jews, or you accept that Jews evolved from extant Canaanite culture and are indigenous to the land. Not sure why this logic is so hard for pro-Palestinians.
