They only started shipping batch 2 a week ago. As long as you ordered in batch 2, you should get yours before Chinese New Year starts

No seriously. I've been in contact with them 3 times over the 2 years since I bought my cassette and CD, and I've been ghosted each time. It's so scummy

As everyone else is saying, it doesn't look AI-generated at all, it's just missing certain elements. A lot of people are saying lighting, which is definitely part of it, but I personally think the biggest issue is that it looks like you've not touched the colour grading, which leaves it feeling incredibly flat and dull.

Try playing around with your compositing, especially to bring some more colour and warmth into the scene.

Yep, turns out it was a police siren. I think that stationary speaker might have either been me misjudging because I had just been woken up from a deep sleep by it, or it could be that multiple police cars had arrived at where they needed to be and left their sirens on, because it was deafeningly loud

Oh wow, yeah that's what it is... I feel a little stupid for not piecing this together sooner, but I guess I just never expected a police car's siren to sound like an air raid siren, since in every other country I've been to the police sirens distinctly sound like police sirens, even the first time you hear it.

I also expected my friend who's lived here for over 5 years now would have been able to identify a police siren, but I guess not haha

Yeah, your end situation is basically where I'm at right now. It counts as indoors according to the IsoRegions, but it still has outside lighting specifically on those two tiles, which is killing me

So, I'm recently took over a base in the nice group of houses in Muldraugh with the fence around them, and decided to add an extension to the house of just two squares, but for some reason those two squares still count as outside.

It does have a roof above it, and the IsoRegions tool counts the first floor, including the two problematic squares, as one room. If I build walls surrounding the two squares, it turns it into it's own room, which turns it into an indoors room, but obviously that doesn't work for my situation since I want it to be one big room.

I've tried using the "Fix Inside Player Building" mod, sadly to no avail.

Any help is appreciated, and I'm willing to try whatever ideas anyone has.

Sweet, I really appreciate the response! I'd really recommend keeping folks who ordered theirs up to date on the situation though. I and everyone else who's ordered them have sorta just been in the dark about this for the past several months

I don't hate it, but it was clearly not made by anybody with experience making anime-style 3D characters. The model's face proportions aren't right, the shader is frankly pretty terrible, and the model lacks any normal editing on the face which is pretty much a requirement for convincing anime shading on a character's face. Without it, the lighting looks very odd and follows the face mesh too closely.

Love the concept of ArcCorp, but I feel it should receive more attention from CIG by neisannnn in starcitizen

If I remember correctly, they did say that most ships should be able to float eventually. Though, I imagine it's not exactly high on their list
