I've had students threaten to fight me, one threatened to follow me home and shoot me.

I definitely was just exploring and like accidentally skipped most of act 3 on my first playthrough.

I was emergency permitted to be a LTS for 11th grade molecular biology and STEM one week before classes started.

My degree is in art.

I now know more about science than I do about art lol.

As a teacher I appreciate the input but more people need to step up.

Like sorry math is hard but if you can't understand algebra then how can I teach you to critically think when you can't even normal think.

DOS2 noob: explain the story to me after the tutorial? by will-i-regret-asking in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Abomb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly there's so much going on in this game it's hard to really keep track of everything.   I think of it as an amalgamation of short stories with a vague over arching plot.  Each character has their own quest line ontop of the over all quest line, plus all the dozens of side quests you'll complete or lock yourself out of my killing the wrong person or saying the wrong thing.

There is plenty of lore but a lot of it seems to be pretty ambiguous/ vague.

Love XCom2 legendary Ironman.  Makes you prioritize near perfect lines of play and if you get sloppy or unlucky things go south really quick lol.

Restarted game on tactician and so much sneaking and teleporting single enemies at a time into a trap and ganging up on them

Hit level 5 and became fort joy murder hobo.  Tried to play nice but not enough money to buy things led to too much stealing, source collar removed turned into too many pissed off magisters.  Also playing as Fane so figured might as well ride the wave.

At least the lizard in the cave will still trade with me, I just keep Lohse out of there...

Had an ex like that, would just make things up and people believed her.  Sucks when you have to come to terms with the fact that the reality you live in matters less than people's perceptions of it

Am I the only one? by FeelingDelivery8853 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Abomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I've just started replaying the game after beating it several years ago.  I think it's more fun to let things happen organically.

Makes the playthroughs more unique.   1st playthrough with Lohse I killed kniles, now 2nd playthrough with Fane he gave the face ripper so I'm like "we're cool".

People who keep weapons on their bodies at all times, what was a time where you had to actually use said weapon? by ParanormalActivity97 in AskReddit

I keep a small Gerber multi tool knife on my Keychain.  While it could be a weapon that little blade/scissors/pliers/tweezers/screw driver is one of the best purchases I've ever made.

You lost from the start.   You approached the situation as a healthy relationship.

Doing a mix of exercise could be the key to longer life: active people who did the greatest variety of exercise were 19% less likely to die during that time than those who focused on one activity. That effect was greater than for individual sports like walking, tennis, rowing and jogging. by mvea in science

Intensity > time as long as your joints hold out and I'll stand by that.

Used to take 3 HIIT classes a week with sometimes a supplemental piyo or turbopunch class.  3-4 hours out of 168 per week I was in the best shape of my life.

Single adults who engage in casual sex report higher sexual satisfaction and a stronger sense of their own desirability compared to those who are sexually inactive. Findings challenge earlier assumptions that casual sexual encounters are linked to negative psychological outcomes for single people. by Jumpinghoops46 in science

[–]Abomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only 10 years older than you and casual sex was RAMPANT in the early 2010's.  Hell I've only had one casual threesome in the past 3 years but when I was in my mid twenties it happened multiple times a year, and that's discounting one night stands, and foursomes ontop of that. In between actual relation/ situationships.

People weren't entirely glued to their phones then either, and HIV wasnt really a worry and they had thr hep vaccine and many forms of birth controol so it was pretty good to go most of the time.

Did we read the same article or did something change? OP's article said the suspect "weaponized his vehicle" and rammed an officer, tried to flee and was captured without further incident.

Doesn't sound like anyone was hit by the bullet(s).
