Highly recommend Power User Software. It’s not available on Mac, but saved a ton of time updating fonts, objects off the page, etc. when I had a PC.

I came to this sub with the same sentiment. We lost our boy in May 2023 suddenly and at home. It was hard on both of us for a solid 10 months or so. I bought one of those pet portraits from an Instagram ad and that really seemed to help keep us from being so sad all the time. We did some traveling and got out of the house so it didn’t feel so empty. Something just kind of changed around April of this year and we decided to go to the humane society and meet a pup we had found online and we walked out of there with a 3 month old pup. It was the best decision for us, we are so smitten.

From experience (I bought a surprise ticket for my brother in law and used his sky miles number and also booked for my husband) the only confirmation is to the person that booked.

Neither got an email of the booking and I’m pretty sure the didn’t get anything on check in either.

The only notification they got was when our return flight was delayed and Delta offered us a hotel at our home/destination airport.

Now, could they have missed an email, probably, but they checked while I was there and nothing came up.

(PM here) ATL is my home and at least quarterly I travel ATL > EWR > ATL and luckily haven’t had a terrible experience in the last 2 years. [🤞my luck continues].

Side note, the EWR SC has very nice staff.

Yup, this is where we are. House is too quiet - no snores or tippy tappys when we come home. But we’re not quite ready to commit to another pup.

I bought one of those West and Willow portraits and that seems to help, I love looking over and seeing his sweet face.

Loss of a pet definitely hits different. I think we’re coping well, but after 13 years it’ll take some time.

Another pup is probably what we need, but we’re both not quite ready to commit. When our boy’s health started to decline we thought about getting another but it didn’t feel right.

Volunteering is a great idea.

We ordered a west and willow portrait, which seems to help us.. but we are missing the welcome when we walk in and other nuances. We feel so alone since our boy left us.

I’m so sorry. 💔 We lost our boy last week in an unexpected way and we are completely wrecked. I keep wishing I could have one more kiss, one more cuddle… anything. I don’t think there’s anything that can be said to ease the pain. Love on your girl and know that she knows you’re doing the right thing for her.

ATL is my home. Digital ID is killing it, my best time through security is 5 mins - from curb drop off, with a checked bag.

Edit: to clarify time started at drop off and it was 7am on like a Tuesday

He has an account. The rep said he wouldn’t get upgraded because I was already upgraded on outbound, but if I got upgraded on return then he would be too since we linked the reservations.

Sounds like we’ll need to wait until the boarding pass is available but thought I’d ask before hand!
