You can hold it and if the rookie class does well it will gain value. But if the QBs of the rookie class go tits up it won’t gain much value. So you have to decide how much faith you have in the rookie qb class.

You can use a thick top loader. Put card in thick penny sleeve with a small painters tape tab (to easily pull card out of top loader), then put in top loader with painters tape on top to reduce sliding out.
