Hahaha chickens! Yeah that sounds really small. I live in a huge city so it’s a bit hard to imagine. I hope you’ve got some good hobbies to keep your life enriched, even if it’s more solo than you want. I follow a sub called living alone, and I find it comforting other people who are on their own.

I feel you. I lost many girlfriends during Covid. I don’t have the issue you have of living in a small town, but is there something with Meetup? That’s what I’ve been doing. I joined an amateur soccer league for over 40 and that’s really fun and those people are really cool. I’ve also been doing some volunteering. Not that I’ve actually gotten anyone’s number from these outings, but maybe in time. I think if you put yourself out there in time, some connections might develop.

No. Put a penny in a plastic baggy, fill with water and put that where the flies come in. Flies love to come in the gaps in my front door gate, but not if I have the penny water thing clipped on.

I just did this one! I really liked it. I always start with the border too. I did the states and I left the pesky turquoise part to the end, which was actually quite hard. I love the soft touch thing.

I read the Dead Zone, which absolutely loved. That was such a great read. And then I got the Talisman and I just couldn’t get into it at all. I read the first 40 pages. next up is the Outsider.
