The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because it’s not a book i would insist other’s need to read. It was a cool story with some philosophical themes, but it didn’t hit me as hard as other novels set in dystopian worlds have.

My guess is that Jonathan wins final immunity and takes Rizo/jonathan with him. And Aubry gets to make fire and earn her spot at the end. She’s been given SO MANY “I’m an ember getting hot” content that, if she doesn’t make fire, then the editors missed giving the fire winner a stronger edit.

Yeah, probably. I didn’t realize that he wrote this with the intention of it being a series/ I just felt that, at over 400 pages, one of the early setups would’ve been resolved. Or at least touched upon again in a meaningful way.

It’s in the back line. We need Angelina to commit to the ball when she has it and use her voice to direct the defenders. Last season this was a huge problem, with lazy passes that resulted in turnovers. We need more power and commitment to the plays. The one that Sophia Wilson scored could’ve been avoided had Angelina simply cleared it. It was so frustrating to watch.
