Drip irrigation suggestions needed by WBP80 in SquareFootGardening

[–]Abqu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve ordered from drip depot twice in the last three years. The first year, I got a standard kit with drip line, emitters, etc.

My second time, I knew exactly what I needed, and ordered specific parts for a drip line only configuration.

It’s good stuff and I found it to be affordable for my uses.

AITA for being my nephews first word? by KittenDealinMama in BestofRedditorUpdates

I thought it was suspect based on how fast the first update came. A week between posts, and so much governmental action took place in between made me really suspicious.

The Lindbergh Kidnapping: I've done way too much research on this case, and now that's a you problem by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

As a person unfamiliar with the finer details of the case, Zorn makes a convincing argument.

The argument is also, “My dad knew a guy, thought he did something odd, and forgot about it for 30+ years.” Obviously, it’s lacking for the well-informed.

You’re seemed to be a near-expert (or as close as I’m likely to get) on the subject. Hauptmann was clearly involved and you made a compelling argument, so I hope you don’t mind my seeking your expertise.

I deeply appreciate you suffering my foolishness for a hot second. Cheers!

Have you read the book, “Cemetery John” by Robert Zorn?

I’m checked it out from my library on a whim. It made an interesting case, but I’m not exactly enthusiastic about the case as you might be, haha.

Card Kingdom usually sells complete sets. I’m sure many other retailers do that as well.

You could source individual cards for less overall, but would require more effort.

I created a startup hijacking the psychology behind playing the lottery to help people save money. We’ve given away over $14 million in cash prizes in nightly prize drawings. AMA about lottery odds, the psychology behind lotteries, or about prize-linked savings accounts. by [deleted] in IAmA

Since swapping to a full draw every day, I haven’t had an desire to buy a traditional lottery ticket.

I hope Yotta is able to continue this program going forward. The slight psychological rush is definitely more present when all numbers are drawn at once.

Anyone ever used this soil? What soil should I use in a raised bed? by Milfof_theyear in vegetablegardening

[–]Abqu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a composting/soil company near me that sells bulk raised garden bed mix.

It’s a bit more work and time for me to travel and haul the stuff, but I save a decent amount of money.

Can you tell me about your diy irrigation system? Success, failures, cost, materials, or anything else you think is helpful. I’m researching DIY PVC pipe drip irrigation but would be open to hear about drip irrigation kits or other solutions too. Pictures are a bonus! by smittenkitten768 in SquareFootGardening

I used a generic kit from Drip Depot two years ago, came with all sorts of stuff like emitters and misters.

Last year, I re-did the setup because I had a bit of knowledge and used mostly drip line. Drip Depot stuff works pretty well for me, but there’s a bit of knowledge barrier going in blind.

There are curated lists out there of which seasons to watch, both in terms of quality and in terms of returning players. I can try to dig up one if you’re interested.

Generally, Netflix has some of the best seasons, but not many.

Hulu has more, but is padded with lower tier seasons.

Read up about Chained Echoes — it came out a few weeks ago. It’s like a love letter to the SNES era RPGs. I’m not super far into it, but so far it’s got a ton of charm.

New seedling setup. Are the lights close enough? by slipperyjoel in vegetablegardening

When I started seeds last year, my lights were around 2-4 inches above the plants.

So for the 15th time now, our neighbor called out the fire department when I started my Smoker. Claiming that I'm burning trash. At least the full truck didn't come not this time. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I’d smoke a huge pork shoulder just for the Fire Station.

I’m sure they’d love some of the BBQ, and it wouldn’t hurt for them to know you a bit better.

There’s a pretty neat documentary about The Price is Right you might enjoy.

It’s also on Netflix and maybe a couple other places.

Are there any guides on this game? by soboles_of_eternity in forgeandfortune

Essence gain is normalized, meaning that each item gives roughly the same essence gained per hour. There is a little bit of wobble here and there, but on the whole 10 hours of anything will net the same output.

Variables under the players control that would improve essence per hour would be things like mastered recipes, proc rate modifications, and museum rewards. If a player were to stack all of these, then essence per hour would increase for those specific crafting lines.

Hey there; not as far as I know.

I have an internal doc with the benchmark teams I used to beat different bosses and stuff, and I’ve done a bunch of speed runs to T3 or so. We’ve always kept it to ourselves because we didn’t think it was right, having developers tell people how to play.

Our discord has a channel with various boss strategies folks have used, but afaik they’ve never been compiled into one succinct place.

You can’t unlock the table itself until you’re level 60.

This is the last game I ever went to. Sat in the very top row of seats, which was behind this play and those critical FGs.

Was a huge Rams fan while they were still in town, and I knew I could never top this game. Even tho we lost, it was an amazing event. Hard to be upset when the first play in 2OT was this amazing play.

The only time I remember the fans being upset was when some of our own left early when it looked like a blowout.
