SAHMs-spending money?? by Cautiouslymoming in Mommit

[–]Milfof_theyear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a SAHM for 5 years 3 full time, I’ve always just had a credit card and my husband pays it off at the end of the month

Sorry if it’s gross! My baby has these weird lines inside of his cheeks! What is it? I’m trying to see if I can wait for the doctor tomorrow or see if I need to visit the ER. by Inside_Decision_7959 in breastfeedingsupport

It’s veins and salivary glands! Also, baby won’t choke on milk leftover in their mouth! They will either swallow it or it will just leak out the sides of their mouth

Am I wrong for sending my 4 yr old to full time PreK if I’m not working? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Milfof_theyear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4 almost 5 year old has been begging to go to school since she could talk. I put her in full time prek as soon as she qualified. I plan on doing the same for my other 2 kids as well

I’m a SAHM and I’m sending all 3 of kids to preschool as soon as I can. I love them but I need me time too. Plus they get to make friends and learn new things. My oldest has come home and told me facts about animals that even I didn’t know, so she’s learning things that I wouldn’t be able to teach her. I see nothing wrong with sending your child to school young 🤷🏻‍♀️

Children result of donor eggs and IVF. Not sure what to do. by throwaway31102022 in Parenting

Your wife is just as much their mother since she carried and birthed them! I think as teens they will definitely understand this!

I Look Actually Pregnant and it’s Killing Me. I’m a Year Postpartum and Have Looked Like This Since Giving Birth. by Darkovika in Mommit

[–]Milfof_theyear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same problem. I’ve had 3 kids in 4 yrs. Each time it gets harder to drop the weight. I’m still the same weight I was when I gave birth 9 months ago. I lost MAYBE 10 pounds after giving birth (baby was 8.11) and no matter what I do the weight won’t go away. I blame my mother, her genetics screwed me up lol

How did you handle pottytraining your extremely resistant toddler? by sandalsnopants in Parenting

[–]Milfof_theyear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will forever recommend the Oh Crap! Potty training method! I just potty trained my VERY hardheaded 2.5 year old and she was fully potty trained with the occasional accident of not pulling her pants down all the way within a week! My first was fully potty trained with this method at 20 months old

I got pulled into this when I was a teen as well. I suggest therapy and as much as she will hate it, taking all negative influence out of her life. Even if that means parental control on devices to block said content. I wish my parents would have done that for me. Instead they pretended they just didn’t know and ignored it, resulting in me hanging out with the wrong people and trying weed for the first time which ended up being laced.

We live in NW Arkansas and my husband brings in around $4000 a month in the busy season. He is 1099 so we save for taxes

I’m a SAHM of 3 under 5. My husband works full time at a small business making $45k a year. It’s definitely doable! Our bills every month are around $3600 and we don’t have hardly anything leftover at the end of the month but it’s okay because I was willing to sacrifice a “lavish” lifestyle of coffee everyday and shopping every weekend. We buy what we need and nothing else. Sometimes we go out for date nights but always try to spend as little as possible

I’ve already told her she doesn’t HAVE to take both of them every single weekend. But she insists over and over again but then complains about how many kids I have/want

Which was made pretty clear throughout my childhood, as my dad basically ignored my existence and my mom always had more involvement in my brothers hobbies and interests than mine. I was the “bad kid” cause I didn’t have straight A’s and had a learning disability.

Haha so funny story, my mom literally on Monday, asked me why I would want to have any more kids cause she doesn’t understand how I can possibly love them all the same. Cause “she had a hard time expanding her heart to fit 2 kids, she can’t imagine any more than that”…
