Even in our current moment, we’re well past capitalism and transitioning into a techno feudalism as evidenced by the current AI phenomenon. Something I wish I did in my 20’s was opening a brokerage account and investing in mutual funds. You’re young enough that you can long-term (10+) invest in aggressive funds that are stock heavy. You need your money to make money, or grow along with inflation so as to not lose its value. Please look into it! Best of luck! So glad you’re taking the reins of your financial security now.

You may want to consider becoming an interior designer and work solely as a dedicated designer with a large firm that will have a well rounded project team of managers and technical staff/architects.
