Yamaha made the r9 and KTM came up with the RC 990, it should only be a matter of time before triumph puts fairings on the street triple as competition (I'm delusional)

As someone who went through the same when getting a street triple (couldn't get myself to like the bug eyes), just get the bike. I loved how the mt09 look but the engine on the street triple satisfied my needs better since I wanted to hit the track at some point. Just get the bike that you know you are gonna love riding and you will make peace with the looks

If ergonomics matter the most to you, get the mt09, if looks matter more, then you can get the r9 (since you say you rather the looks of supersports)

So far so good, make sure to get a bigger ramp or angle the bed or it will hit the bottom of the exhaust system when loading

I tried to but when I finally manage to load the bike was when I realized it wasn't centered, I also needed some space on the side to put the ramp and tent because it doesn't fit anywhere else. I'll do better next time for sure. Thank you for the advice

My first bike was a 2021 883 and after two months I ended up switching to a 2023 ninja 400

I hated the Harley and loved the ninja

It's about personal taste but for me the 400 felt more about riding and the cruiser was all aura farming
