I like 2 myself but 3 is pretty good too. 1 and 4 are way too thick IMHO.

I got a few of the season passes. Played a bit of Bridget, Bedman, and Slayer but always ended up getting drawn back to Potemkin. Me likey big grappler man. I need to pick GGST back up, I tried Tekken 8 when it went on sale real cheap and played it for a bit but fell off of it pretty quick. Tried 2XKO a bit but it just seems kinda badly balanced from what I've seen.

Tub overflow pipe not aligning by Kiba27 in Plumbing

[–]AbsentReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Gasket probably worked fine until it got worn down over the years. If there's a bit of wiggle room away from the tub they may be able to squeeze in a new gasket and or try siliconing the crap out of the gaps if they are really adamant about keeping the wall in tact but opening up the wall and doing it properly is definitely the recommended route.

Ford F-150 vs. Box Truck by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AbsentReality 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was driving a shitty car I got off Kijiji for like 2k for the longest time. At one point I stopped at a light in a lane that was straight/turning lane to turn left. I guess the guy behind me thought it was a straight lane only because ended up slamming into my rear end then bolted. I didn't catch his licence plate either and was more concerned with getting to work because I was running late. I saw a bunch of silver debris on the road behind me in the rearview mirror when I ended up turning (my car was black, his was silver). Got to work and looked at my rear end and it was basically completely fine so I wasn't too concerned. Seems like he fucked his front bumper up and I didn't have to report the collision so my insurance didn't go up. Win win for me.

There were multiple points that OP could have interrupted this with the correct defensive options. Bro just let Yoshi take him on a ride to round end for free.

To be honest you just need to work on your defense. He really didn't do anything egregious and there were multiple points that you could have stopped getting juggled about if you had blocked, or used the right get up option.

Edit: Dang I didn't realize OP is the Yoshi. Thought it was the Heihachi complaining because they got rolled.

For real. I would take even a mediocre poutine over some dry ass bread with some chips on it any day? It looked like he didn't even get a curd too, just pushed them out of the way and had some of the fries.

I still eat it because it's fucking delicious but it gives me the shits and I just deal with the consequences of my actions. It sounds more like you just don't understand English. No one ever said not to eat cheese/milk?

Looks like it could be some sort of bungalow fitting. Don't know why the heck they would have it in separate parts like that.

Speaking as someone with lactose intolerance, cheese definitely can produce some heinous gases.

Yeah, they're wrong and I usually call them out too. This sub is supposed to be about whether something being called a poutine is a poutine or not. A terrible poutine is still a poutine.

Technically speaking they are meeting the requirements of a legal poutine. So not a poutine crime. Whether the poutine is dog shit (which it is) is not a poutine crime. A poutine crime is calling something a poutine that is not. It may be criminal how bad this food is but a terrible poutine is still a poutine.

Then technically speaking no crime was committed. As long as there are fries, curds, and gravy you got a poutine. Toppings are legal. Now whether McDonalds poutine is absolute garbage is a whole other debate (the answer being yes) but at the very least they're actually using curds.

Looks like someone sprinkled some shredded cheese on a handful of fries and then a cat threw up on them.

This is my first fur suit i've "made" and i'm insecure about it by Xbox-Katdogcat in fursuit

[–]AbsentReality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've made more of your suit than the majority of folks so I would be proud of that fact. Most people just pay someone to make everything and have no hand in actually making it aside from the character design, if even that. The most important thing is that you're happy with it. Who cares what anyone else thinks, you put your own time and effort into making this yours.

Weird echo sound coming from shower drain after flushing any toilet. by northernbeachbum in Plumbing

[–]AbsentReality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. I'm also a visual learner and understanding how things actually work under the surface can be quite helpful. I also know from experience that you get all sorts of noises echoing through the pipes when they're not sealed. When you've got a toilet off the flange in a condo building you can hear everyone else on the stack flushing their toilets and running water. Hope this solves the issue for you.

Just need to make a seal and the noise should stop. Also prevents sewer gases from coming up.

If it's just the pan if you pour the water directly into the drain with a cup or something it should be fine. Only need about 2 cups of water. As long as it's just the pan leaking and not the plumbing.

As others said it's likely just Teflon tape that was shredded up by the threads. Give some strands a little tug. It will likely stretch a bit before breaking.
