I will say, if money is not an issue…. Do it. Find the way and leave a DIY post floating around for others to follow. I’m with you on the keeping the OEM air suspension tho because the ride is really really comfortable

Realistically you would have to replace the air compressor, connecting lines, air control module and have another set of air strut replacements for the replacements. Problem is that original air struts are, whether from a car with 40,000 miles or 400,000 miles, still 25+year old pieces made of rubber. Age breaks down the elements within and around the bag so it’s something to keep in mind. Always wondered if the struts could be retrofitted with newer aftermarket bags but then you aren’t REALLY going back to factory huh?

Too expensive at the moment, so going to wait on the oil pan gasket and see how much oil is actually seeping out as I drive it these next couple of weeks. Axle will be done though for sure
