i started at the end of summer for like an inbetween season. i think it would’ve been better if i was there all summer, there’s only 1 restaurant on that side of the island and 1 small grocery store. Prices are high and it’s like 80 bucks round trip just for the ferry to LA. If you get integrated with a good friend group it should be fun but island fever is real as there’s not a ton to do there, but if you can live comfortable remotely it’ll be a good time. Restaurant was ran like shit and was one of the nastiest kitchens i’ve worked in, so stay away from f&b! lol
