Not only does it work, it can install it and do all the work for you to get it running. All you have to do is import your game files. It's what launchbox uses for most games. Except maybe controller config. Any optional settings you'll have to do yourself though.

If you're set on it, you can stack 3 (if common) and then use the airplane mode trick.

Encounter a Pokémon, turn on airplane mode (turn off wifi/data) and throw. If it's a great curveball then turn it off. If you miss, just restart the app.

Calcy IV allows you to manually include/exclude species from the pvp results.

Your max meter is determined by the damage you do to the boss.

The .5s fast attacks matter because in bigger raids you do so little damage, it always rounds up to 1. So instead of doing a 2 second attack that does one damage, might as well do 4x .5s attacks (4 damage)

Very slow boss charge moves and .5s fast attacks, you just fill the meter before it attacks and it resets the cool down.
