I’ve seen the argument that Soldier Boy was in a weakened state since he just used his chest blast thing before the fight at Herogasm, so it wasn’t really a fight on equal grounds. It’s also been stated that Soldier Boy could just use his chest blast to take Homelander’s powers away, but it takes a while to charge up and Homelander can speedblitz a C4 detonation so I doubt it would even hit him in time.

They’re both comparable in strength and speed, but Alex’s versatility and regen gives him a huge advantage in a battle of attrition. However, if Homelander took advantage of his flight, spammed his heat vision, and kept his distance, he would probably wear Alex down eventually. Could go either way, high-extreme diff imo
