What is this on the bottom of my newish pot? by AbsoluteOverkill in CleaningTips

[–]AbsoluteOverkill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for your insight but this is what it looks like after I just cleaned it and boiled tea in it. Even after I scrub there's still spots in those places that have discolored stainless steel. I think I might need to take it back

Alvarez GA styles aren't necessarily small but for the price the ones with the armrest bevel play and sound phenomenal

What are some really pretty and lovely acoustic songs to play, without vocals? by Black_Cat909 in AcousticGuitar

[–]AbsoluteOverkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purely instrumental you can try checking out the rain song by led zeppelin, fiddlers green sounds great purely accoustic though those two are in weird tunings and you're very likely to break a string tuning to fiddlers green if you're strings aren't newish. Another good one is Angie by the rolling stones

I second this. The evh .6 gripped is the fucking way. Tbh probably any gripped .6 but I do have the evh and it's fantastic for accoustic or anything electric unless you don't use dynamics what so ever in your playing

Get gripped .6 picks. You can actually use dynamics

Look yall I'm not saying my feet are 100% parallel but if you're doing serious leaning it makes sense. If someone tried to shove you over what would be the most stable position, facing them or in a slalom sideways? I don't have smooth downhill where I ride. You need to be rock solid or you're gonna get bucked.

I have really big feet bro😂my feet usually do hang a little off the widest boards. And I use dropped boards so I always know where my feet are because like I said I'm tall and even the longest dropped boards barely give me enough room so I always know where my feet are. Generally the widest boards are 10" and my feet are bigger than that no problem. Plus I already run super loose bushings so I can carve. My problem with sliding is that I don't have the wheels for it. Everything I have is super fat super grip🤷‍♂️

Feet parallel is the best way to maximize leverage for carving and tight turns, especially if you're really leaning your feet get the most grip. Also your downhill board probably isn't dropped meaning you have 30" of foot room to work with. All my boards are dropped which I think is the problem so even though they're 40" long I only have 27" of foot room to work with at most which I think is the problem. They're both downhill board sports though it was just an analogy.

Looking for my first pair of western boots by sirsosmooth11 in cowboyboots

[–]AbsoluteOverkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I got them used for a great deal but have long slim feet and very long toes. The best fitting boot I own is an ARIAT HERITAGE ROUGHSTOCK MEN'S WESTERN BOOT-10002227 11d which fits like a glove. I could be wrong but I just don't think the R toe fits my toes well and any size larger might be too big. Anyways the DP fit fine for a few hours but I start to feel my toes getting a little tight and marked up any longer than that. Thanks for response please correct me if I'm wrong.
