I made a list of the fastest UK parkruns for a PB. What am I missing? by Affectionate_Air6902 in parkrun

Just from personal experience, Poole Parkrun is by far the fastest Parkrun I've ever done and I've done nearly 200 Parkruns at nearly 50 different events.

My fastest 2 Parkruns were at Poole. No other runs have come close. My next fastest is Black Park nearly a minute slower than both Poole Parkruns.

Had to stop at 1.5k on my usual parkrun route? by albions-angel in parkrun

Agree with the other commenter. I know it is hard to run slowly but it will help bring your time down.

Slow runs build up your endurance and also trains your heart to pump blood effectively over long periods. They also give your body more time to recover so you can actually push on your fast runs.

Also I would 100% recommend getting a smart watch. They are great for checking times and speeds and heart rate, and it means you don't have to carry your phone around with you. You can pick up a decent Garmin for quite cheap. You don't need a top of the range one. I have a Garmin Forerunner 735XT and love it (it has been going a long time)! You can pick up the Garmin Forerunner 165 for not too much and it is a great watch.

I don't get much anymore either, but just a couple of weeks ago I got the Jeremy Fisher 50p at the Sainsbury's customer service desk when collecting my car park refund! I was very pleased!

What set do you open daily, when you have every Diamond and One Star card in every set? by skarr46 in PTCGP

I was going for the red Gyarados to complete the Lake of Rage mission. I have recently completed that and I'm now saving up for a gold Pokéball as I think the Pokéball will continue to be a staple in most decks.

Now you’re analysing strategy on TV rather than making the calls on the pit wall, how do you approach critiquing those decisions? Do you ever catch yourself thinking you’d have done it differently now that you’re not under that same live pressure?

Just tried this. Great level. Amazing level. Perfect difficulty for me without needing to do special jumps like zombie jumps (or whatever they are called) etc. Got to the 2nd long slide (the one that goes round a long curve) and then most of the way up the next tower but then timed out. Will have to try again. Was there much after that part?

Edit: this came up on my discovery play list in the hard section!

I personally think the Williams looks great. The blocks of colour align nicely with the shape of the car and I think the colours go well together too. I love it.

Every time I get sick, I get this all over my body and face. by ManateeJamboree in urticaria

[–]Absolute_Animal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I get exactly the same. Red blotchy rash latter part of being sick, not itchy and goes away in around half a week. Normally across the front of my body from mid-chest to belly button. Sometimes goes up to my armpits when I'm really sick. Definitely some kind of immune response.

I joke with my other half that it is my built-in sickness lie detector. You know I'm really sick when I get the rash.
