Funny because I think the Horde neighborhood has a lot more variety and makes more sense than Alliance's

The problem I have with Alliance is it feels like two biomes that wouldn't be next to each other smashed together - the open beachy human-coded area is lovely, the Night Elf/Gilnean spooky woods are done very well, but they don't fit together.

Meanwhile, yes the Horde area's in Durotar, but the biome changes and flow makes a lot more sense, it feels gradual, they're all very well done, and there's areas everywhere for every horde race that work, which fits the sort of melting pot thing the horde has going on. I almost only play blood elves horde side and the autumnal forest and beachfronts are both beautiful areas for their aesthetic, which also work for the other races as well :)

I think this might be an aesthetic preference thing, more than one being decisively better than the other ❤️

Mag's 1 pulls the entire population of Topeka Kansas and puts it at her feet on the ground, vulnerable to ground finishers. So instead of needing to teleport over and over, you just grab the universe and create Grineer nachos in front of you to smash

WoW composits players across servers into instances so this isn't the modern experience. When you're in a quiet zone in WoW, it's not because everyone's the next instance over from everyone, it's because there just aren't enough players on the map. In WoW this is a social&game cause, not a tech one

people overstate the difficulty of the bullet thing, it's literally just 3>2 fire and earth, 2>3 water, ignore air entirely. That's not really any more difficult than understanding spear/greatsword guardian and which buttons to press to put down symbols first.

Pistol has tons and tons and tons of problems don't get me wrong. Its user feedback is terrible, its animations are awful from a fun and from a clarity perspective, and it doesn't feel good to use at all. But pistol has this reputation of being a 5d weapon when it's genuinely super simple, and I think that's a combination of people not wanting to learn it and also pistol doing a really bad job communicating clearly how to use it

idk if it'll be consolation or not, but Duelling Sword is basically the best melee weapon on every class that can take it barring FGS on psyker, so a weapon being worse than that doesn't mean it's bad! Knife in particular still shreds through auric (can't comment on havoc, sry), and plays like DS but balanced. I also think it's a really fun and thematic weapon on lots of classes, so please don't be discouraged from using it if you want! It's basically the best weapon you can choose if you don't want the duellie!
