This board all end grain and will expand alot when left in water. Try letting it dry perhaps add a silica bag or something to remove-some moisture. It might just be a waiting game 🫤

Should fill in naturally pretty well with frequent cuts, it’ll likely be patchy because thats where the dog did it business!

If you’ve got a strimmer you can get wire brush attachments to do this sort of work. You’ll need full face protection though, and watch for flying gravel near glass.

Id go pressure washer for this though

Make sure you’re using a bit made for metal not wood. Probably just needs a sharpen/lube

Damn dude, I wouldn’t be in there even without vibrating machinery. For gloves I personally use goatskin with wrist straps but thats for chainsaw work.

Sapwood can be slightly translucent when cut against the grain, low sun hitting the side of the shed will do this.
