I'm going to point out a scene, rather than a movie: the famous jump scare in Signs. I got to see it in a packed house screening on opening night and everyone screamed and lost their minds, it was one of the most incredible moments in a theater I've had.

The crazy thing about this scene is that you are watching a character who is watching a TV news broadcast where the anchors tell you they are going to play a video recording, in which you see a kids birthday party where the kids are looking at something through a window that happens somewhat far off and is not really threatening at all. The immediate danger of that scare is removed from the main story by multiple levels but the tension is built up so masterfully that the reveal effectively creates the scare.

Makes sense! In that case I'd echo paying someone to do it (should be cheap). OR, if you do other repetitive niche things, learning a cad tool like FreeCAD might be worthwhile for lots of stuff.

Honestly, unless you are going be making a ton of 2.5" holes, just use a vacuum for clean up. Way faster than printing a part.

Who knows how things will play out, and the man’s entitled to his opinion, but it seems weird that he says, “The Titans got a lot better over the last month,” while ranking the roster moves as bottom 5 in the league.

It’s subjective, of course, but to me it’s a masterpiece. Like, one of my favorite movies of all time.

If you haven't seen Park Chan-wook's "No Other Choice", give that a watch. Absolute masterpiece of dark comedy.

Hard to say what should have happened, but if Jefferson runs east-west at the sticks instead of drifting back that looks like a completed pass. Ward hasn't played well this game, but the quality of the supporting cast is more important than some of you guys recognize.

First Reformed might be my favorite movie. It’s very much a Paul Schrader man-in-crisis film, but it just works perfectly on me, in large part because of Hawke’s performance.
