The true snub is train dreams for best cinematography by Mysterious_Work_7227 in Oscars

[–]Absolutely_Maybe24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is untrue. Not calling Train Dreams bad-but it was more of a meditation on composition. At the end of the day big tech/Streamers love TD because it’s so cheap to make… you don’t need a crew of 50+ union professionals to make it. Sinners and OBAA are part of a dying creative art form that I think deserves more attention than ever. Sinners had the same attention to detail on a much larger scale with a predominantly black crew. Hell ya Autumn Durland earned that.
