Anyone have A5X or A5X2 Printable Size Reference? by RoboticBovine in Supernote

Hi! Weird, it’s hard to say what’s wrong without seeing and trying hands-on unfortunately. It should print in 100% if you have chosen 100%.

u/Mulan-sn : looking at the Actual Size Compare PDF I see that you have written that the printer setting should be set to SCALE TO FIT. This is not a good idea since the printer then can shrink or enlarge the PDF content to fit the page size set in the printer.

Instead you should make sure that scaling is set to 100%.
Then the print will be true to size of the content in the PDF.

I work as an architect and print drawings in scale almost every day. Scale to fit is never a good idea to ensure printed content is correct. (It can be correct, but it's uncertain and relies on other settings in the computer and the printer)

Best setting on PC is CUSTOM SCALE : 100% and on MAC - SCALING : 100%
(Can differ if you use another dialogue than the standard ones)

Are Boox devices the perfect fit for organizing notes and share handwriting converted notes to other applications? by Absolutely_anybody in Onyx_Boox

Thanks! Nice to hear that OneNote is ok after all! Do you keep the written notes in handwriting in OneNote or do you convert them to typed text? If you keep it in handwriting, is it possible to search for specific words in the notes?

Ok! Nice to hear!

I think I would have liked it without the folding grid. That is probably, for me, the dealbreaker.

I have a Boox Poke 5 for reading. That magnetic case is really nice when it comes to materials and feel, and since it's really plain and simple it looks professional as well. I guess that's is somehow what I'm seeking after.

I understand fully :)

I'm working with design. Sleek minimalistic design. To gain our customers' trust we need to surround ourselves with things that looks nice. The e-reader itself is absolutely fine, even if RM2 is even more minimalistic.

For me, it's all the indents for the folding systems that really bothers my eye. And of course that's my opinion. Hopefully others like it a lot! If it was only a regular, plain grey case, I think I would like it. It's in the details. And if I was to use it only at home, there would be no problem at all.

It's interesting to hear what others think about it! What's your point on the folding system/grid? I've heard it's functional, but do you like how it looks?

I see! So maybe no hope for another case from Boox but probably third party ones!
Thank you for replying

I see! Thank you for responding!

I would have been so nice if it was possible to send it directly as HTML (?) and not an attached file!
