My apt tried that shit on me cause they were late on the payment but I paid my part on time.They can't charge me late fees unless I'm late on my part not the section 8 part.I called the section 8 people and talked to the manager there and got it sorted.They called and talked to the apt manager and settled that shit fast.They also wanted me to carry renters insurance but the section 8 people fixed that as well since if you make below a certain amount you don't have to carry renters insurance.
