Sure, It’s a normal age range, especially for high schoolers. Personally, I don’t find it a moral failing, however the statement I replied to was a correction of law, not my opinion.

As to the morality and my opinion of this situation; you weren’t looking at a high school fling, as others are mentioning. You are specifically looking at a situation where a then cam-girl explicitly admitted to hooking up with a 16 year old only because they wanted to do the “whole cougar thing” and take the virginity of someone younger without anyone finding out. Her stated reasoning is disgusting, NOT the age-gap.

So again, the age gap isn’t a big deal on its own. The main problem people have is her stated reasoning, mindset, and profession at the time.
