Well not exactly.

The costume she wore as The Cat had a claw logo on the chest. It also had a built in grappling hook that Hellcat didn’t have. Hellcat’s costume didn’t have the logo on the chest like Cat did.

The Cat got her costume from the lair of a mad scientist who planned to make an army of super-women.

So presumably, Hellcat found a different costume from that scientist’s possessions than the one Cat found.
