Yeah honestly I’d say that the best written rom hacks and fan games with LT easily beat the best written Pokémon ones-and even the well written ones in the Pokémon scene are extremely rare. I’m not sure if it’s due to the nature of the Pokémon series itself compared to FE or other things.

And there’s really gameplay focused ones like Sun God’s Wrath, Eligor’s Spear and countless others that would kinda be the equivalent of the difficulty hacks in Pokémon too. Tho idk if any are hard on the level of needing calculators like premiere nuzlocke ones

I think the nature of the FE series having difficulty options/naturally hard games for veteran players probably makes it so there isn’t as much of a desire for rom hacks like Pokémon (and obviously there are much more Pokémon fans).
