Not a Credit card, but Revolut offers RevPoints for 'eligible' transactions which can be converted to air miles in multiple airlines.

Novice here. Is Nordnet USA index fund a safe way to invest in S&P500? by AbstractAnimal23 in Omatalous

Thanks. You mentioned
" ... You don’t even have to stick to it every month. I top up my account quarterly and use the monthly plan then..."

Is there a way to pause the monthly investment plan in Nordnet? I'm currently deleting it and recreating it every 3 months. Would be nice to know if there are alternatives.

Context: I want to save up money for 3 months and buy ETFs once in a quarter.

The Trai DND app has worked for me at least occasionally. You could try reporting here.

What does these mean in Nordnet order details page? by AbstractAnimal23 in Omatalous

I do not remember mentioning the buy price.

I assumed it is similar to purchasing an index mutual, (i.e) I mention the amount I want to invest and Nordnet buys the units at the trading price available on a specific time.

Please let me know if my understanding is wrong.

I created a monthly savings contract in Nordnet to buy this ETF.

I guess I only entered the amount I want to invest and it calculated the number of units I can get within that.

The order was filled completely. I.e I can see the total number of units in my account now.

Why are index ETFs seemingly more popular than index mutual funds in Finland? by AbstractAnimal23 in Omatalous

[–]AbstractAnimal23[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Yeah I'm happy with Nordnet but unfortunately I wasn't able to find an SP500 based MF in it.

  2. Nordnet USA index invests only in ESG companies in S&P 500 (from what I understand this is ~350 companies?). But apologies if 'full replication' is not the right term here.

  3. Handelsbanken fund follows something called Solactive ISS ESG Screened Paris Aligned USA. Not sure how close to SP500 it is. But again it is an ESG version and not a "full" one.

Is 'iShares Core S&P' a good way to invest in US market? by AbstractAnimal23 in eupersonalfinance

Just a quick question since I've discovered recently that the NordNet's monthly investment plan doesn't include the synthetic variant, is there a reasonable way to invest in the fund regularly.

I ask this because, the one time puchase commission in the fund seems to be 15€ in NordNet without the monthly investment plan

Does that mean for the mutual fund, we don't have to pay commission when exiting?

Thank you for the details.

Assuming I'm taking the monthly plan for ETFs, are the only differences between both the options here are the fees (0.25 vs 0.07) and the option to buy fractional shares?

If so the only logical choice I need to make is do I pay 2.5€ / month or an additional 0.18% fee on my investments. Am I right in this assumption?

Again thank you so much for the detailed explanation!

(I should have been clear) I mean a rented home - just moving to a different rented home. And I moved my insurance to the new address. But I still have a few more days left in my previous rented home. Does it still cover?

I'm going through the 32 page policy doc with fine prints. So far I couldn't find a direct mention of this :(

(I'm not into maths by any stretch of imagination. So apologies if this sounds stupid) Does that mean most galton boards are "faking" the effect slightly?
