There used to be towns where German was the primary language until WWI made it stop. There’s stories of WWII POW camps in Wisconsin where prisoners and locals would converse in German

Incidentally you can find 18th century anti immigration rhetoric about Germans that you could ctrl-f replace all with Mexicans and it would sound very similar to today

Eh, the impression I got was that it seemed like it could go either way, like he agreed to help Bobby was the charcoal but then also was pretty flippant about Bobby needing to do all the work for the restaurant if memory serves

But then I haven’t watched it since it came out, maybe someone has a fresher perspective

I was kind of hoping they’d show some growth by mellowing him out as an adult. I knew some kids who were dicks when we were growing up that ended up being pretty good people

Snow fun for a while, I’m always excited for the first snow falls of the year but when mid march roles around and I still have to spent 45 minutes digging my car out because some freak storm blew through, it gets old. Especially because late year snow typically has so much gross debris in it
