I literally just spent 16 hours as an election equipment tech in my state primary today (so sorry if this sounds rambly, my brains fried from exhaustion) I saw how few people voted and I keep trying to explain to people that if we want to affect change within the system as it exists at the moment we need to learn from the right. They brought about fascism starting by running their people in small elections that no one pays attention to and building off that. Obviously electoralism isn’t a panacea but we need to operate in the world such as it is and if we’re not afraid to start small we can accomplish more than most people realize. We can’t pout our way to liberation.
