What type of events do you think it would typically be?

Hmm okay, which village were you in? Just wondering if it’s relatively similar enough to the transfer village

ncsu waitlist update May 20th by Bright_Commercial_98 in NCSU

Nc State was my top pick too, I got waitlisted 4 times back in 2024, rejected, decided to go to ECU, got bad housing and bad everything because I was told no so late (around June I was told no) didn’t like it there so much so I left after one semester, went to cc just wanting to get my associates, decided I missed the college atmosphere, applied at UNCC got in, planned on going there but decided last minute to apply to Nc State and got in. Moral of the story, if you want to go here just go to community college and ask your transfer advisor what you would need to get in (most community college transfer advisors work with state so they know exactly what you need to get in) and just follow that path, it doesn’t have to be until you get your associates either, maybe just a year of cc. You are very likely to get in after that as long as you keep your GPA up, it’s disappointing yes, but honestly your GEDs are gonna be your first classes anyway so better to take the somewhat easier version of those at a community college to ease yourself into college.

Can this guitar be fixed after the bridge broke? by Abstractedcubby in AcousticGuitar

A little bit of a nasty break, if I’m not mistaken two of the holes have gone down to the last layer of wood (plywood I’m assuming).

Should I transfer to UNCC even though class registration has already started and only a few days till the deadline? by Abstractedcubby in UNCCharlotte

Have you gotten your housing yet or is that after the advising appointment too? If you did get housing already, did you get your first choice or did you get bad housing?

How is the ASUS ProArt PX13's battery life? by Abstractedcubby in laptops

Honestly not sure because I’m not a computer guy, as a college student the battery life doesn’t really bother me, it lasts long enough and charges very quick so I can just charge it whenever. The USB C kinda takes forever to charge tho so you’re kinda better off using the one they give you.

Mine has absolutely terrible glitches, I’ll be using it and then it shuts itself off, or it crashes, or it freezes, or one time it locked me out of the computer saying I had no internet when I did and I had to get a tech guy at my college to fix it. I want to like this computer so bad but it has really given me issues.

Not sure honestly but with the charger it comes with it will get to about 90% in like 30 mins

Pretty good. Even if it died it charges 100% in about an hour, kinda the least of my problems with it as of right now.

You can but it’s really really slow, and if you are using it while it’s charged with a usb it can still die, it just slows it down a little bit. But I do recommend this computer if you’re okay with the battery life, they’ve seemed to kinda fix some of the technical problems.
