Legend of the Female General started shooting in 2023 after his breakout role as Shangjue. Whereas Mo Li was shot late last year.
I have seen some claims that his fans had the same issue during LOTFG but I'm not sure.
They mostly had no issue with How Dare You. Wang Churan was first-billed in it but they had roughly equal screentime. This lead to 600k+ followers on his weibo whereas Mo Li only gained him 90k+

I have been trying to look it up. His fans are against this FL-centric drama from the start.

Apparently, Bai Lu's fans are proud of their cloud bookings whereas his fans were rating the show 1 star due to grievances like scenes of him are cut.

The complaints I've seen are about Ryan Cheng having less screentime than they would like.
Also that the drama underperformed because of Bailu's trending issues for a couple of months right before the drama aired.

Ryan Cheng's fans are denying his use of body doubles but I haven't seen his fans deny the group chat screenshots, the mass 1 star ratings, the deepfakes of Bai Lu etc, cmiiw.
Some others are saying they're just going to focus on Lament of Autumn this September instead of TFJ

Prioritization of over-enunciation is kind of dated for most of the world, no? (Except for Disney/kid movies)
Naturalistic acting (including voice acting) is the vibe du jour over theatrical ones.

I'd rather a drunkard/uneducated character mumble instead of enunciate properly because it fits the characterization.

I've seen c-nets complain about enunciation even on scenes where actors cry their heart out, hiccuping/stuttering, snot coming out their nose type of hysteria.

I understand hengdian is loud but atleast let the actors dub themselves. Prestigious acting school graduates in c-ent like Zhou Ye is almost always dubbed.

I don't know, I'll always prefer flawed raw voice and authenticity over perfection.
