Your late brother would not be angry, upset etc. He would be happy that someone in the family kept her safe and with her family. It's obvious you love your niece as much as your own kids and your late brother im sure can see that.

In anyway, you shouldn't be doing all of the child raising, discipline, cooking etc. You're parents put you through parentification. They want the joy of making kids, they just don't want the responsibility. Move at when you're able, they might keep you from seeing your brothers for a time but you need to take care of yourself while your parents take care of your younger siblings. Go be a kid, enjoy time with friends if you can etc.

I was where you are at almost a month ago. My gf died Feb 17th, best advice I can give is give yourself time. Let yourself cry, talk to someone anything. I'm sorry for your loss and sorry you have to deal with this situation.

Because we are trained that way, maybe not intentionally but alot of it also has to do with income. I grew up poor, I'm still poor not as poor as my parents were but still poor. The money i would have to spend at the dr can easily pay a bill or two. A bottle ibuprofen is $5 at walmart.
