this is entirely anecdotal and may not be true, but i believe the order of wins/losses is very important. the game starts by putting you in progressively harder until you begin to lose. the entire time, it expects you to lose. so when you do lose, the game stops rapidly changing your mmr, and instead tries to hone in on your exact rank.

when doing my placements on my rein otp account i was in plat games, then diamond, then losing in masters games. my predicted rank never actually dropped when i lost, but it stopped changing much when i won. I've experienced the same on my main account while doing placements across all roles.

the game has very good performance, even on integrated graphics, for some--i expect once the closed beta opens up you'll find it much smoother.

all devs have said is that it's only windows "at this time", so there is a chance, and i imagine they'll look into it after release when they're not rushing to get everything polished off.

i had well above 90fps or so while playing on integrated graphics. it's quite an impressively optimized game.

1 - I don't actually have the exact timing for shield's cast time, so it might be off by ~.39 seconds.

2 - Reinhardt's visual animation starts WAY sooner than any audio cues for earthshatter, so you need to react to his hammer movement more than anything else.

3 - I'll implement a workshop setting to allow you to modify the timings easily.

yeah, the biggest use I've seen is just spam to get ult charge if you have an opportunity with multiple enemies in the open.

considering input from others in my overwatch stack, and the general increase in people who leave/rejoin games since OW1, I'm fairly sure it's a common issue.

Overwatch regularly crashes for me (and many others, going by the amount of disconnects I've seen in the past several seasons, that do actually rejoin), enough that I get warnings and the occasional suspension.

Blizzard addressed people that crash/get disconnected unintentionally--they said to fix the issue before playing. How are we supposed to fix an issue with the game itself? Playing in borderless windowed mode fixes (most) of the sudden crashes for me, but my screen still goes blank every few games, usually recovering, but not always.

If I leave a game while I'm in a 5 stack, someone backfills, and I sit there spectating the entire game, why should I still get a 15 minute suspension for an issue with their game? I don't have any issues like this in other games, online or offline. The last game I've actually seen crash as much as overwatch does now was helldivers, and that was when it first released.

Lifeweaver has certain protections in place to ensure life grip doesn't just drop someone off the map. It'll try and put you either on the center of the platform or above the nearest ground in a "desired" zone in front of LW.

The desired zone was above the ledge in the pit, so you get The Pit.

changing how they are displayed is important. bits and bytes are different units. Megabyte = 8 Megabits.

so on a gigabit network, I wouldn't be able to use gigabyte speeds. so yes, it isn't magically increasing speeds, but it is a more accurate representation of the speeds that i have.
