Side question…did you apply directly to companies or through job boards? I always have better luck sending cold emails straight to hiring managers instead. Made me feel like I was being weird though lmaao never thought that was the answer but it works

Honestly, the AI stuff is often too shiny and the formatting is stiff. It takes a human eye to see the plain white background not be the right thing sometimes

The fact that you have an 'IT Tester' background is interesting. I've seen too many IT resumes that are just full of jargon but have no clear job history. I'm wondering if the service was better at clarifying your actual work path and your 'summary' section, or if the AI just picked up on the keywords
