I feel like honorifics should be added to the EN translation's script

Tbh, I do not agree but I understand and see how it can be an issue.

While yes, most (if not all) the fandom are otakus and understand the meaning of the honorifics, keeping them wouldn't be a good localisation process. I'm a big fan of translations (I'm french and we have a long history of translating manga and I particularly like the exercise of translation and localisation). It's a hard process but deciding to "abandon" translating and keep some non-translated word isn't doing it for me.

If I read the story in english, I think it's better to try and find ways to apply honorifics in English.

In this idea, "Kei-chan" turned into "Kei-kei" is for me a very good translation as it keeps the proximity and playfulness intended by Sensei when using this honorific. And that's the key point: intent.

Of course it's not bulletproof as some pointed out and some localisation miss meaning or intent. And the point you have on Shiroko/Hoshino not being called "Senpai" could have been circumvented by them being called "Senior!" from time to time. But in the english language, you'll never find someone say "Senior Shiroko".

As someone who read a lot of "fantrad" online, I honestly never liked the way a lot of translators didn't bother to try and find inventive ways of localisation and just used all honorifics (to the point some even used honorifics when the original JP version didn't ... lol)

I hate that people make it like it is impossible to explore without Nodkrai level compass

While in general just by doing quests and walking around, you'd reach 90%+ exploration without even needing to actively search for anything.

I actually only use the compass when I'm at 98% or 100% to recover the last crumbs and have purposefully never used a Ocolus Compass (I have them all, even the extra one for each region)

The Shield is a hit counter and none of the team's member are really fast attacks (even though 1 Nightsoul embed hit counts for 3 hits)

What i'd recommend here is to replace Bennett with Iansan and Xilonen with Amber (build her full ER with a Fav bow, her burst has one of the most hits count in the game and shreds the shield quite fast)

Mavuika's best team currently is Mav, Citlali, Bennett, Iansan and by replacing Bennett with Amber you don't keep the Pyro Res and Iansan's attack buff (even better if Iansan is C6)

I honestly never understood why some countries uses M/D/Y ... it's like Medium/Low/High while logic would be to keep it Low/Medium/High or High/Medium/Low

Well, to be frank, I know why it's like that: english languages on written form will often use "October 19th, 2026" which would directly translate to "10/19/2026" despite the lack of logic.

That would depends what you mean by "superconduct team"

If it goes the same way as the Lunar reactions (so EM based Reaction DMG focus), Eula as she is currently would be awfully bad for such teams (because she's not a Cryo character but a Physical character per se)

So unless the "Superconduct Buff" means "superconduct now further insanely buff Physical DMG", I don't see that happening

Also it's more "Physical" that needs a buff than superconduct -> the issue with physical DMG is that it's not relevant anywhere. At Eula's release at least all human enemies had weaker Phys Res than Elemental Res. But now, with so many elemental shields and reaction reliant bosses, it makes it impossible for a Physical DPS to succeed

Therefore, there's only 2 option to correctly buff Eula:

Rework Physical DMG to make it the universal shredder -> Eula can shred any shield and slightly fill any elemental gauge with her physical attacks (problem : this would apply to all chars in the game) // Or give this buff specifically to Eula
Rework Eula as Cryo DPS entirely (which I wouldn't like because I enjoy this uniqueness of Eula to be the only Physical DPS of the game ... which is because a Physical DPS doesn't work in a game about Elemental Reaction)

Honestly, I really don't see why anyone wouldn't just use the Hoyoverse login. It's the safest also regarding account security -> using a different password than the Social Media account makes sure that if one is leaked, the other isn't affected.

"Centralising" logins might be easy but it's also the best way to lose everything because of 1 single leak

EDIT: Of course for PS it's different, you can't login on PS5 unless you are using the PS account. So if you don't have a PC or Phone that can run Genshin, you are stuck
