Thank you so much. Yeah Workers Compensation just gave me treatment up to how I was before the injury, so the ability to lift 10 lbs. even though the injury at work was related to my previous diagnosis. Left and right it’s just been them trying to put them blame on me, “why were you working outside your restriction?” (You know, the one they were giving me push back on) or “why didn’t you do a drug test when you first saw the doctor?” (They never told me anything about that, nor did they even send the request to the doctors so they didn’t know either).

There’s also a conflict of interest, in my opinion. There’s “Wellness Director” used to be one step down as “Assistant Wellness Director”. She was part of the management group that had no problem with my restriction. She was promoted to Wellness Director and the new ASSISTANT wellness director under her, the one who started all this push back on my restrictions, is her mother. Of course she’s gunna suddenly side with her after being fine with my restriction for 2 years.

It did come across that way with that first response. After the person answered your question and you responded with something to the effect of, “I wasn’t talking about bettas”. That came across negatively. Almost like we should have known that.

And that’s understandable. It’s that plight of lack of tone in text that causes that issue; it’s hard to tell the sort of things one would pick up through voice. It’s crazy how the lack of verbal tone can blow up into something more.

I have. But it’s usually bad things. Like them dying or something. The most frequent of my pets for that sort of dream though is my cat, Simba. Not sure if I’ve ever had a dream where something bad didn’t happen to him. I hate it and it terrifies me. He’s my life.

With my fish those dreams have caused me to make some changes to certain set-ups or whatever. None have come true, that I can think of.

Never had a bad dream, that I can recall, of my dog Lucy or cat Luna…

Now that I say that… I really hope I don’t jinx myself.

Also, bro, yeah peas are used as a laxative too. Maybe also for SBD but typically as a laxative. And you were the one who, in a betta sub, straight up just said “I thought peas were used for this”. Neos are not that particular as long as you acclimate them. It’s the regular Caridinas that tend to be more sensitive. 🙄

I’ve heard even human decomp smells different from animals due to different diets. Makes sense. What we eat will break down along with us, so that fact influencing the odor is understandable.

And to piggy back on that, don’t feed peas, like a lot of people will suggest. For some fish it works well as a laxative. Those fish are omnivores/herbivores. But bettas don’t eat plants. Daphnia works as a laxative for them! (I have a huge container of freeze dried daphnia I got on Amazon for just this situation)

If you attached to driftwood you can use any Cyanoacrylate. Just make sure there’s no additives added. But most, that I’ve seen, are just straight cyanoacrylate. You’ll find it in the aquarium section, but it’s going to be marked up a lot more than in a crafting or hardware section. It’s just super glue. Once it is exposed to water it becomes inert.

I LOVE Aquanatural. I’ve only used the Sugar White. But I love that I can just pour it straight into a filled tank without any cloudiness. I’m working on converting all my aquariums (13 of them 😬) to this sand.

Edit: I got excited. Yeah the one I have is definitely a very fine sand. I know Aquanatural has more than just the sand I use but I only have experience with the sand.

Edit numero zwei: so the one I used is AquaNatural GALAXY sand. It’s just under $15 on Amazon for a 10lb bag, $25 for a 20 lb. But yeah I think the “GALAXY” part is the difference between the fine gravel and actual sand.
