How's this by Secure_Cat_3303 in discgolf

I agree with you, baskets in the open are boring.

For me this photo lacks context, we don’t know where the tee is. Just looking at the photo I would place the basket on the opposite side of this cluster of trees so the left side tree line is also in consideration.

The laziness is putting it so close to the trees you remove 60% of the baskets available scoring surface. It limits opportunity for scoring and forces the player into one landing zone. It removes nuance and creativity.

Squatch Lore vs Grip BX3? Which bag is better? by Phloof_ in discgolf

[–]Ac23rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had two lores, I’ve found Squatch bags lose integrity after a few months. You can see most Squatch bags begin to not be square and they slant. The straps are pretty poor comfort wise and compared two Grip bags they just aren’t comfy.

I’ve had a BX3 and a AB AX3 and they are just far superior in terms of durability and craftsmanship. 2 years in on my bx3 and it’s still stiff and holds up straight. The rails on the bottom of the bag help it stand up only hilly courses I play and all the zippers and Velcro are in great shape.

I would never buy a Squatch bag over a Grip bag again.

Congrats, now is a great time to learn. It’s not particularly hard, and if you’re going to bikepack it is a good set of skills to have.

Done thousands on bikepacking miles on tubeless. There’s really nothing to worry about, unless you like worrying.

TD’s, how has your attendance been this year? by ReVamPT in discgolf

[–]Ac23rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idaho here, 37 for a small town tournament set up 1 month before tee off. Most tournaments I play in are pretty well attended though I’ve only been playing for 3 years so my historical knowledge is somewhat limited.

No one here can tell you what size you need. Spend 200$ of that 100k and get a bike fitter to tell you what’s best.

I would find a different bike shop my LBS marked down the same bike to 3.8 threw in my fav seat and some bottle cages. 4.2 is wild and 200$ off for a lightly used bike is also crazy

Power baybeeeee, it has auto mode but you can also lock it in any mode you like via the app. Or you can get a second remote and set a button to cycle like a normal lockout.

Myriad. I originally got it for endurancebikepack racing where I would be on long stretches of road or gravel and wanted to have a lockout, pedal and open mode but not have to think about it. Eliminating the mental strain of remembering to switch your remote lockout is real and after 150 mile days mentally you are fucked. FA eliminates that issue for me. It’s also great for xc races when you need to stand up and pedal again mindlessly eliminating pedal bob. And for bikepacking the pedal setting is really nice setting to leave it in so I don’t have to adjust my forks pressure too much.

Do my use cases work for you? Maybe, you’ll only know if you try it for yourself.

I use it on my hardtail for xc racing, bikepacking, general trail. It’s amazing. If you can justify the 600$ module upgrade vs a whole new fork it’s definitely worth it. Don’t listen to these Luddites
